Find the location of the MAF sensor in your A6, unplug the electrical connectors, and remove the sensor from the housing. Spray at least 10 spurts of MAF cleaner onto the sensor and then let it air dry for an hour or until completely dry. Do not use cloth or cotton swabs to clean the sensor, as it can damage it.

4 Nov 2018. #17. Have an 06 3.0 TDI one myself and it's just fantastic. Was traded in to work over a year ago and I bought it for dad, such a great thing to waft from A to B in. Ours hasn't needed the chain done yet (on 130k now) and to be honest, when that time does come I'll probably do it and hold on to the car.
